- Read your first daily devotional
- Set up your anonymous profile
- Explore the community forums (no posting required yet)
- Meet your 24/7 faith companion
What to Expect: You might feel overwhelmed, hopeful, scared, or all three. That's normal. Just show up.
Finding Your Rhythm
Days 1-7
What You'll Do:
- Daily devotional every morning (5-10 min read)
- Check-in with faith companion when you need support
- Browse forums - read stories from others
- Start tracking your progress (day counter)
- Identify your biggest trigger and write it down
What to Expect: The first week is about building a daily habit. Don't worry about being perfect—just be consistent.
Building Community
Days 8-30
What You'll Do:
- Post your first message in the forum (when ready)
- Reply to at least one person's story
- Use crisis tools when temptation hits
- Complete all devotionals in your track
- Start prayer requests in Prayer Wall
What to Expect: This is when you'll start to feel less alone. The community becomes your safety net.
Deepening Your Recovery
Days 31-90
What You'll Do:
- Share your story (even the messy parts)
- Help newcomers in the forum
- Track patterns: what triggers you? what helps?
- Engage with 8-week 'Walk' course (deeper study)
- Build accountability relationships
What to Expect: You'll have good days and hard days. Progress isn't linear. Celebrate every victory.
Becoming a Supporter
Days 91-180
What You'll Do:
- Mentor someone newer to recovery
- Lead prayer threads in the community
- Share tools that worked for you
- Deepen family relationships (if applicable)
- Plan long-term relapse prevention
What to Expect: This is where recovery becomes a lifestyle, not a battle. You'll still have hard days, but you'll know how to handle them.
Living in Freedom
6 months - forever
What You'll Do:
- Celebrate milestones (6 months, 1 year, etc.)
- Continue daily devotionals as spiritual discipline
- Stay connected to community
- Give back: share your testimony publicly
- Live the life God intended for you
