Your Support Journey Matters Too
You're not just standing by—you're walking through this with them. You need support, healing, and hope just as much as they do.
"Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."

Understanding What You're Going Through
Loving someone with an addiction is one of the hardest journeys you'll ever walk. The confusion, the betrayal, the fear, the hope that gets crushed, and the exhaustion of never knowing what's coming next—it all takes a toll.
You Are Not Alone
Setting Healthy Boundaries
Boundaries aren't walls—they're bridges to healthier relationships. They protect both you and your loved one.
What Are Boundaries?
Clear limits you set to protect your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. They define what you will and won't accept in your relationships.
Why They Matter
Without boundaries, enabling behavior can flourish. Boundaries communicate love AND responsibility—they show respect for both yourself and them.
How to Set Them
Be clear, consistent, and compassionate. Communicate consequences ahead of time. Follow through with love, not anger. Seek support for yourself.
Common Boundaries
No financial support for substances. No lying or manipulation. Require treatment/meetings. Separate living arrangements if needed. Zero tolerance for abuse.
Taking Care of Yourself
You can't pour from an empty cup. Self-care isn't selfish—it's essential for your survival and theirs.
Warning Signs You Need Help
Physical exhaustion, depression, anxiety, isolation, neglecting your own needs, losing your sense of self, or enabling destructive behavior. If any of these resonate, reach out for support today.
Supporting Without Enabling
Love doesn't mean rescuing. True support means allowing natural consequences while offering consistent encouragement.
