A faith-based ministry, not a company
Everything here is paid for by people like you.
We are not a business with investors. We are a pastor who has walked this road, a small team, and the people who believe this work matters. Two groups keep it alive: those who buy our courses, and those who choose to give.
This page is here so you can see exactly where a gift goes. No vague "general fund" — four real things.
Pastor Simon
Founder
"When I was in the caravan I could not have paid for anything. Someone else's generosity is the only reason I am here to write this. If you are in a position to be that someone for the next person, thank you."
What a gift funds
Four things. All of them real, all of them only possible because someone gave.
Hardship places
When someone writes to say they cannot afford a course, we say yes. Every yes is paid for by a gift or by someone else’s purchase. Nobody is turned away, and nobody is asked to prove how poor they are.
A $40 gift is one full course for one person who could not have bought it.
Prayer groups & the Recovery Hub
Every member joins our prayer groups and gets the daily devotionals, trackers and reminders for life — long after any course ends, for as long as it takes. Gifts keep the lights on for that, year after year.
There is no subscription. This part is simply carried by the people who give.
Recovery to Service
The programme where churches and rehab centres train and qualify people who have come through recovery to help the next person. It is a work in progress, and it is being built entirely on course income and gifts.
Your gift moves the release date closer.
Free guides & new courses
The free guides, the Relapse Plans and every new course we write start as unpaid work. Gifts turn them from something we want to write into something that exists.
Out of the Shadows and the children’s courses were funded this way.
Churches & rehab centres
The most sustaining support is a licence.
A $197 annual church licence puts the whole library in your people's hands — and it is the steadiest income this ministry has. If your church wants to support the work, that is the best way to do it.
A few honest answers
Is my gift tax-deductible?
That depends on where you live and how the ministry is registered in your country. We will always send a receipt; please check with a local adviser about deductibility.
Can I give monthly?
Yes — choose a monthly amount in the giving window. Regular gifts are what let us plan hardship places ahead rather than hoping.
Can I give a course to a specific person?
Yes. Buy the course and add their email at checkout, or write to us via the Hardship page and we will arrange it quietly.
Where does the money actually go?
Into the four things above. Pastor Simon draws no salary from gifts; course income covers the small team and the platform.
Not ready to enrol yet?
Every course has a free introduction. Click Learn more on any course and we'll email it to you — no account, no card.
